Miss Cherry is such a sweet dog! With a name like Cherry, how could she not be?
Cherry is an intelligent and playful girl. She's quickly learned about boundaries and what is expected of her, like not jumping on the furniture and sitting at doors. She loves to play with her toys and is always eager to work to get some tasty treats. However, she can get slightly frustrated when things aren't going her way. Cherry likes her alone time but does enjoy playing with her humans. She may not like to be brushed, but she always enjoys a good pet.
Cherry's ideal day would involve lots and lots of walks and running. She loves to play fetch, tug of war, and even wrestle. As she is smart and energetic, Cherry would likely benefit from regular mental and physical stimulation. And, of course, it wouldn't hurt to have access to a yard in her forever home!
She has come a long way in the last couple of months, and we're so grateful for all the work her foster family has done to help her progress. She used to be a little nervous meeting new people, but now she's very excited to make new human pals!
Cherry has not done well with small creatures, so she is definitely not a fit for smaller dogs or cats. However, with a proper introduction, she would do well with a dog her size! She can be a little rambunctious with kids, so we believe she'd do best with older, dog-savvy children.
Overall, this beautiful lady is a joy to be around! She has a fun personality and is a very smart dog. Cherry is a playful dog at heart who just wants to have a good time with her forever family.
