Gorda used to live with a family that beat her daily and a person who worked in the house saved her from this abuse. Despite having suffered a lot of mistreatment in the past, Gorda is a very kind dog, she is calm and enjoys the company of humans and other dogs. She has also tested well with cats.
Her favourite thing in the world is to cuddle and be close to her humans. She would do well in a house or an apartment. She will need a family who will help her exercise as she continues to reach a healthier weight to avoid unnecessary force on her joints.
